About the conference

The web continues to evolve at a breakneck pace. Web 2.0 advances in social networking, user-driven communities and online applications are changing the way we use and engage with the web. And with every step, the web has an even greater impact on our personal and professional lives. But what comes next? How can we predict the next trend? What impact will the future web have on our business, clients, customers and work practices? The webNext conference series is a national tour made up of one day conferences in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Hobart bringing together leading industry figures from a range of disciplines: design, software development, software architecture, business analysis and more. And they are all there to explore this central theme: what is beyond web 2.0? How can we prepare for the future? How can we ensure we're prepared technically and commercially for the next phase?

What's on the program?

The webNEXT conference series is aimed at those who work with the web professionally: developers, writers, designers and business users. There will be a wide range of sessions, across multiple tracks, at different levels of technical or industry knowledge. Developers and technical users will find our developer track meets their needs.
